Qatar Airways has announced a new interline partnership with Maldivian, enabling customers to book travel on both carriers via the Doha, Qatar-based airlines.


Under the partnership, travelers will be able to book travel to the popular resort destination of the Maldives in one booking. Travelers will also have access to 17 domestic destinations in the Maldives - Dharavandhoo, Faresmaathodaa, Funadhoo, Fuvahmulah, Gan, Hanimaadhoo, Ifuru, Kaadedhdhoo, Kadhdhoo, Kooddoo, Maafaru, Maavarulu, Madivaru, and Thimarafushi.


In addition, Qatar Airways passengers will be guided to the domestic terminal for Maldivian-operated flights upon arrival at Male Velana International Airport.


"We are thrilled to announce our interline partnership with Qatar airways, through which our customers will experience smooth connectivity with international baggage allowance while traveling within our network of 17 destinations across Maldives,” said Ismail Amrah Umar, Chief Commercial Officer, Maldivian.


“We are proud to offer the option of a seamless process, allowing passengers to book one ticket that includes both their Qatar Airways flight to Male, and the connecting Maldivian flight to their beachside getaway,” added Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer, Qatar Airways.
